Mr. Trushel's resume includes:

• Four years as an officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (from which he was discharged with the rank of Captain)
• Over forty years as an attorney, practicing as a civil litigator - first as a defense attorney and subsequently as a plaintiffs' attorney specializing in the representation of individuals who had been seriously injured as a result of medical malpractice.

For thirty of those years he was either the sole owner or senior partner of his own law firm, gaining valuable experience as both a plaintiffs' and defense attorney, as well as knowledge as to how the insurance industry works.

During his distinguished career as one of the most respected lawyers in western Pennsylvania he enjoyed a Martindale-Hubbell rating of "AV" (the highest rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell, a national rating service for attorneys), and was named by his peers as one of "The Best Lawyers In America", a distinction achieved by few lawyers.

Since its inception, ACSF has advanced hundreds of thousands of dollars, in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000, to injury victims (from auto accidents, slips and falls, medical malpractice, etc.) who are in need of cash to pay for the necessities of life, pending the resolution of their claim or lawsuit.
